I had been at college before studying interior design. Whilst I enjoyed the course, it just wasn’t for me. Gaining employment in the retail industry sparked my interest in business management.
After seeing an advert for Ayrshire College I decided I wanted to learn more about business, and before I knew it I was on the HND course! I’ve found the course really interesting and I have had an excellent time at college. The course exceeded my expectations, the lecturers were really helpful and encouraged me to continue my education further.
My confidence has grown in my time at college. This has helped boost my presentation skills, enabled me to speak in large groups and to work confidently as part of a team.
I am very grateful to have been awarded this prize. It is a great achievement for me and I’m excited to have been recognised for my hard work. It has given me an extra confidence boost ahead of joining Glasgow Caledonian University to study a business degree.
