I initially came to college to study biomedical science. Although I enjoyed it, I knew it wasn’t the right course for me. I have always had a love for art so I followed my heart, took a chance and applied for a course in art and design.
During my studies I worked with a range of different people. I learned how to express myself through my work and became more confident. A highlight of the course was painting a mural for a local playgroup.
I would definitely recommend the College to anyone. It is extremely welcoming and the staff and students are great.

I am now studying HND Art and Design. In the longer term I would like to progress to university to study art therapy or train as a teacher.
