I qualified as a holistic therapist fifteen years ago. As well as this, I always had a keen interest in photography, and got into digital photography eight years ago.
College was always something I’d wanted to do. I already had a good understanding of location shots and using natural lighting, but I wanted to gain more knowledge of the use of different types of lighting and studio photography. A good friend persuaded me to go to college, and I have never looked back!
My overall experience of college has been a very interesting one. I’ve learnt a great mix of techniques, from still life, to portraits to more general shots. I got on great with the lecturing staff, and I’m really blown away with winning the Outstanding Achievement award. I would thoroughly recommend the College, I’m all for education.
I can see myself running photography workshops. I am aiming to have my own photography studio up and running by next spring - specialising in both location and portrait shots.
