I’d tried a few different trades before but it wasn’t really for me. I thought I’d follow my passion to become a chef and so I started at the local Cumnock Campus.
It was a great stepping stone for me to get to where I am now. Being a small campus, I was really comfortable there and got to know lots of people.
I’ve gained essential knowledge, am learning every aspect of cookery from prepping to service in the college restaurants.
I am about to start as a Modern Apprentice at Western House Hotel in Ayr.
