Equality Reports

Think Equality, do equality:

Reporting on what we do

The College is required by the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) to set equality outcomes and at points of time report on our success and progression in meeting these equality outcomes.  The College has four key high level outcomes of which we are working towards achieving.  Our most recent 'Equality outcomes and Mainstreaming Equality Progress report' details what the College's equality outcomes are for 2013-2017 and our current progress in response to these outcomes.

//Equality Outcomes

Equality outcomes (EO) might be defined as actions which we will take to make things fairer for different groups.

Equality outcomes must say how colleges will pay due regard to:

  • eliminating unlawful discrimination, harassment and victimisation and other conduct prohibited by the Equality Act (2010)
  • advancing equality of opportunity between people from different groups
  • fostering good relations between people from different groups, tackling prejudice and promoting understanding between people from different groups
