Start Here

We’re looking for you to have four National 4s or four relevant Standard Grades at General Level or a pass in a relevant NC course at SCQF Level 4 or equivalent. A place on the course is subject to an interview process. Students without any formal qualifications, but with life experience and a demonstrable interest in the subject area will also be considered for entry, and an appropriate portfolio of work is required at time of interview.

What's Involved

This course is aimed at providing you with an opportunity to develop your creative skills in a broad range of arts and crafts areas. In addition, you will build a portfolio of work for progression to higher level study.  Subjects may also include:

  • Drawing

  • Printmaking
  • Design
  • Jewellery
  • Ceramics
  • Photography
  • Surface Decoration
  • Enterprise Activity
