Start Here

Three National 4s or three relevant Standard Grades at General Level or a pass in a relevant NC course at SCQF Level 4 or equivalent. A place on the course is subject to an interview process and prepared audition piece (monologue) . Students without any formal qualifications, but with life experience and a demonstrable interest in the subject area will also be considered for entry.

What's Involved

Do you see yourself working on stage, in TV Productions or as a freelance jobbing performer? Almost all students will receive as part of their bursary, a selection of branded clothing appropriate to several types of classes including movement, dance and stage costumes. This course acts as an excellent introduction to the business and teaches you skills in the following subjects:

  • Voice Skills
  • National 5 Drama NQ (exam subject to approval)

Progression on to a relevant NC Acting and Performing course at SCQF Level 6  or onto a University course or employment.
