If you’ve got a real desire for a management role in the fast moving, dynamic hospitality industry, then this course could set you up for a fantastic career.

A key part of this course is management of food and beverage operations, so you’ll take part in live events. Working in a team, you’ll plan, organise, deliver and evaluate an event. You’ll come up with the idea or theme - e.g. a Burns Supper, Chinese New Year Celebration, Valentine’s Dinner or a charity event - and then get to work! From big tasks to tiny details, you’ll do the lot - publicity, licence application, menus, food order, table decorations and more.

When you successfully complete this course, you’ll have the choice of continuing your studies or seeking to start your career.
You could go on to study a Hospitality Management, Business Management or Tourism degree, usually entering at 3rd year.
