3 National 5s or 3 relevant Standard Grades at General Level including Music Performance or a pass in a relevant NC course at SCQF Level 5 or equivalent. A place on the course is subject to an audition on 1st study instrument and an interview process. Students without any formal qualifications, but with life experience and a demonstrable interest in the subject area will also be considered for entry.

What's Involved

This course is specifically designed to prepare talented musicians for further study at either an HNC or University level. You must not only be a confident player in terms of technique, but also capable of understanding that working as a musician involves knowledge of recording, composition/songwriting and business. Combined with live performance, this course allows applicants to broaden their skills and ability to work as part of a band or as a Solo Artists.
