ESOL in Work-related Contexts (Higher) Unit
This course runs on a Tuesday evening from 6pm - 9pm for 18 weeks.

Applicants should have an SQA (or equivalent) Intermediate 2 (SCQF Level 5) certificate in English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) at the previous level studied or complete an ESOL Initial Assessment (with a college lecturer) prior to beginning the course.

The Higher ESOL course develops the skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking in order to understand and use English for learners whose first language is not English. As you develop your language skills you will be able to process information more easily, apply knowledge of language in practical and relevant contexts and gain confidence to undertake new and more challenging tasks in a variety of situations.
