What's Involved

This course is ideal for those interested in pursuing a career in design or for individuals who may undertake graphic design and branding projects within their work environment.

On this course you will develop graphic design skills in the field of corporate identity and logo design. You will research a range of corporate identities, produce ideas and concepts for a corporate identity design brief and produce finished design work in response to the brief.

During this 10 week course you will be encouraged to produce your final design piece using Adobe Creative Suite on a Macbook, with instruction from your tutor.

When you successfully complete the assessment for this unit you will receive a nationally recognised SQA award – Art and Design: Corporate Identity at SCQF Level 6.

There are no formal entry requirements, but an understanding of graphic design and basic mac and Adobe skills would be an advantage. This course provides an ideal progression for students who have completed the Introduction to Graphic Design course.

Please bring your own sketch pad and USB Stick/Pen drive as you will be building a portfolio of research and development work.
