Open University Partnership

Ayrshire College is delighted to announce it is extending its partnership agreement with the Open University. From October 2016, the OU Level 2 Diploma will be delivered in the Kilmarnock Campus on a 1 year part time basis and is open to anyone who already has a 15 credit HNC in Social Sciences at SCQF Level 7.  The benefit of this approach is that students will receive first class teaching and regular support and guidance from College and University lecturers as they progress through their diploma.

In the Level 2 programme students will study the following modules:

1. The first module engages with issues relating to Social Policy, Sociology and Criminology, entitled Welfare, Crime and Society.

2. The second module discusses The Use of Social Science.
