Spectre Creative inspire students through Skype workshop
Matt & Nana of Spectre Creative brought innovation and technology together, to deliver an inspiring Skype workshop to the Visual Communication Students at Ayrshire College.
From their offices in Glasgow, and the brilliance of technology, the guys appeared on screen within the classroom to tell students about their personal journey into enterprise, and the challenges and success stories of Spectre Creative over their last five years in business.
Some of the highlights of their talk mentioned the importance of collaboration and seeking advice from support partners, and how they have learned and developed their approach to creating a brief to meet their client's expectations.
Their journey from them both studying together in college to their growing business plans of today was inspiring, fun and honest and gave the students a great insight into the possibilities for a successful career in media.
Matt & Nana of Spectre Creative said "It's always a pleasure working with Bridge 2 Business - we love speaking with students who are interested in entrepreneurship as we believe it's an important trait the everyone should develop."
Shona Pettigrew, Art & Design lecturer at Ayrshire College, said "The workshop was very valuable. The students were interested in finding out about getting help to start a business and the workshop helped to fire their imaginations up and I think a few of them are seriously considering taking part in the programme.
"Also, the part where Spectre Creative did a web chat was excellent and it was great for the students to hear from industry what their experiences have been like. The students have raved about that part of the workshop in particular. The knowledge that there are potential opportunities out there and talking to people from their industry was invaluable."
