Care Experienced Young People

Studying a college course can be a big decision for any young person and we want to make sure that you have as much support and information as possible to make the decision a little easier.

In each campus across Ayrshire we have a designated team member who has a specific role to provide support, advice and guidance to our students who are in care or through care services.

The student services team know that you may be feeling a little anxious but be assured we are here to help you. Our students are at the heart of what we do.

Within the team you will have a key contact who can help you settle into the College as well as provide you with information and guidance on:

Useful information can be found in The College Handbook for Looked After Young People and Care Leavers.

You can book an appointment to see a student services adviser or just drop in and see us at the Student Services desk in the three main campuses (Ayr, Kilmarnock and Kilwinning).
