The Ayr Campus includes, Dam Park Building, Riverside Building, and the Aeronautical Engineering Training Centre.
The Dam Park Building facilities include the Refectory, the Learning Resource Centre, the Collaborative Learning and Information Centre (CLIC) and Student Services. Our superbly equipped workshops on the bottom level of the building have the capacity to accommodate students and apprentices from Engineering and Construction, offering them simulated work space to enhance their skills and complete their qualifications.
The Riverside Building includes a coffee shop which is a great place to relax and enjoy hot drinks and snacks between classes. On Level 2 we have the brand new Ayrshire College Business School. Fashion workshops and Hair and Beauty Salons are situated on Level 3. Custom built workshops and studios for Creative Arts students are on Level 4: make sure you visit the Glasshouse Gallery for displays and exhibitions.
The Aeronautical Engineering Training Centre is a specialist facility and includes an aircraft hangar housing a "bulldog" light aircraft, a flight deck simulator, a wind tunnel and jet engines.The campus also features CATIA computer aided design IT suite with 3D Printer and is known as the Composite Material Centre of Excellence for Scotland.
Free car parking is available at our Ayr Campus. Disabled parking and car-share spaces are clearly signposted and there are two cycle shelters. Shower/changing facilities are available within the Aeronautical Engineering Training Centre.
