This course is aimed at learners who wish to develop their understanding of the fear and fascination of Crime.

This course offers you the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills while you learn about the various areas that Criminologists explore.

NB The nature of criminology is challenging and includes sensitive topics such as violence and crimes of a sexual nature. All applicants need to consider this when applying for the course.

  • A desire to explore and understand theories of the causes of crime

WHAT IS THE COURSE ABOUT

  • You will learn about the work of forensic psychologists in the police, courts and in prisons
  • You will develop an understanding of different psychological theories of criminal behaviour and their application to criminality.
  • You will also have the opportunity to explore extraordinary criminal behaviour
