Whats Involved
Excellent communication abilities will enhance any employee’s skillset, and in the digital workplace and remote environment, these skills are more important than ever. Effective communications can enhance and enable change, motivate and stimulate, and carry your message clearly to all stakeholders in an organisation.
This course is ideal for those looking to enhance their communication abilities, and will reflect on the changes in the communication process within current workplace settings.
Main Learning Outcomes:
- Importance of effective workplace communication
- Effects of poor workplace communication and longer-term consequences
- Understanding your audience- communicating effectively across all stakeholders
- Contemporary methods of communication and collaborative working platforms
- Digital tools for communication- Teams, Zoom, Sway, Stream, Social Media, Infographics, AR and VR
Attendees on this course will benefit from enhanced communications skills and a greater knowledge of various tools and applications that support this. Attendees will be able to demonstrate increased knowledge of the debilitating effects of poor communication, as well as a range of audience engagement methods and additional considerations.
Course Format:
2 x day face-to-face sessions. The course will be split into 2 parts, with the first part delivered by our Leadership and Management Trainer.
There will then be an interval of approximately 2 weeks, to allow attendees to gather any material they may wish to utilise in a live environment in the second session with our Digital Skills Trainer. Feedback will be sought at the end of the first session as to particular areas of interest, so as to guide our Digital Skills Trainer to better meet the needs of attendees during the second session.
