HNC Social Services (Year 1)
This course runs on a Thursday evening from 6pm - 9pm for 34 weeks. These times include a period for shut down procedures at the end of the night.
Applicants must currently be employed or working in an appropriate care setting.
The HNC in Social Services (SCQF level 7) will equip you to work effectively in a range of care settings with a variety of service users. You will gain an understanding of the values and principles of social care and will learn how to integrate those values with the necessary skills and knowledge.
Please be aware that you must be employed within the care sector in a suitable post to meet the requirements of this course.
