Delivery Method: Mixed Delivery - Live lecturer sessions plus candidates own work time.
Course Duration: 4 x 2 hours "live" lecturer sessions delivery plus candidates own time.
Certification: ILM Leadership & Management Unit. Further undertaking and completion of “Developing Yourself & Others” and “Solving Problems & Making Decisions” units, candidates would achieve the “ILM Award in Leadership & Management Level 3 (SCQF level 6)”.
This unit is ideal for those on the early stages of their managerial career and looking to enhance their skills. The course has a focus on application of leadership behaviours and practices within the workplace environment, as well as creating an understanding of why these behaviours and practices are required of leaders.
To reflect leadership practices in the current working environment, the course now contains an in-depth section on leading remote teams, and while this area is not assessed within the unit, it would be a fantastic addition to any manager or leader's skill set.
