If you are interested in physical activity in the great outdoors this course could be for you. Your course will incorporate units at SCQF Level 4 and 5 in order to ensure a smooth progression towards higher level sport and fitness units/qualifications. While the course centres around sport, fitness and recreation much of this will be outdoors and on open water.

If you’re into Outdoor Pursuits and are thinking about a future career in the sport, fitness or exercise industry, this course can help you on your way.

For entry to this course you’ll need:
•A real interest in sport and fitness (you may already be participating, coaching or volunteering)
•National 5 qualifications and 1 Higher (A-C) or equivalent OR a pass in a relevant NC course at SCQF Level 5/6
•An interview with us*
•If you don’t have formal qualifications, but have life experience, then we’ll also consider you for a place, so please call us for a chat.

Moving onto an an advanced course such as HNC Coaching and Developing Sport, HNC Fitness, Health and Exercise, HND Applied Sports and Exercise Science (Year 1), Sport and Fitness (Outdoor Pursuits) or Advanced Sport and Fitness.
