Whats Involved

This course is suitable for new or experienced Office users who are looking for an overview of common Office 365 apps. The session will use the college O365 portal, therefore participants will not be required to have their own accounts.

Course Content:

Office 365 is a plan that allows users access to Office applications, as well as other services via the internet.

This course will cover:

  • Key Changes between MS Office desktop and MS Office 365
  • Introduction to One Drive for Business - OneDrive enables users to store personal files and share them with colleagues
  • Introduction to Teams - Microsoft Teams is a collaboration site which combines workplace conversation and chat, video meetings and file storage
  • Introduction to Sway - Sway allows users to create interactive reports, presentations, personal stories and more
  • Introduction to Planner - Planner enables users to create and track simple project plans
  • Introduction to SharePoint - SharePoint is a secure place to store, organise, share and access information and files across an organisation or team
  • Introduction to Forms - Microsoft Forms allows users to create shareable surveys, quizzes and polls

By the end of this course participants will be able to navigate their way around Office 365 and understand the ways in which they can store files, share, collaborate and communicate using its apps and features.
