What's Involved
Microsoft Excel is a fantastic tool to store, organise, manipulate and present data. Targeted at beginner level and aimed at people with no prior experience, this course will guide you through the basics of Excel, covering the following:
Course Content:
This course will cover the following:
- Interface overview and terminology
- Entering and editing data
- Formatting
- Saving a workbook
- Working with multiple workbooks
- Copying and pasting between documents
- Inserting/deleting rows and columns
- Changing column width/ row height
- Sorting
- Basic formulae – AutoSum, AVERAGE, MAX, MIN
- Page Setup
- Printing
- Creating a basic chart
By the end of this course participants will be able to create and format a simple worksheet and have a good working knowledge of Excel basics. They will understand some of the functionality that will allow them to be more productive in their work.
Attendees must have Excel 2016 or 2013 desktop client installed on their machine and should have some familiarity with Microsoft Windows.
