What's involved

Attendees must have Word 2016 or 2013 desktop client installed on their machine and should have some familiarity with Microsoft Windows. Attendees should have a basic understanding of Word features and be able to insert, select and edit text, and apply basic formatting.

This course is designed for attendees who wish to build on their knowledge of Microsoft Word as well as enhance their document’s presentation. Attendees should have completed or have equivalent knowledge to the Microsoft Word for Beginners course.

This 2 hour session will cover the following:

  • Create tables
  • Insert and delete rows and columns
  • Change borders and shading
  • Merge and split cells
  • Change paragraph spacing
  • Indent paragraphs
  • Insert page numbering
  • Insert headers and footers
  • Insert pictures and graphics
  • Format graphics
  • Use Styles
