I am overjoyed as I would have never in a million years thought I would have been able to achieve this award. After a very hard year of studying and working to achieve an A in the Graded Unit, this just tops it off!

After sixth year, I decided to come to Ayrshire College. The College was an opportunity to set me up for the demands of university, and provided me with more experience at university level, so I knew what to expect.

Also, I felt that the course the College offered was something which very much appealed to me, as the specific modules that were included were something I was very passionate about.

The course I took was Social Sciences, which involved many modules such as Politics, History, Sociology and Psychology.

The thing I enjoyed most was meeting new people and interacting with the class, as well as studying subjects that I have a real interest in.

I would say that the highlight of my time at Ayrshire College was receiving an ‘A’ for my Graded Unit, which was beyond what I thought I would achieve.

I’ve gained many skills through this course, such as ICT but also time management. I know now what effort is needed to be able to pass at university. Also, I have matured as a person, I am more organised than I used to be, as I realise what I need to do to achieve my goals.

I am overjoyed as I would have never in a million years thought I would have been able to achieve this award. After a very hard year of studying and working to achieve an ‘A’ in the Graded Unit, this just tops it off!

I think it’ll be a very good award to have on my CV, as it shows the dedication and effort that I put in.

I am now studying History and Politics at university. Once I graduate, my plans are to pursue a career within humanitarian aid or the UN.

I’d recommend Ayrshire College as overall it has put me in a very good standing for university.
