Connect to Photography Exhibition Online
A series of photographs taken by students on the Connect to Careers course at Ayrshire College's Kilwinning Campus is now available to view online.
Connect to Careers is an entry-level course at Ayrshire College that prepares young people for life after school by teaching them the necessary skills required for the workplace.
The students had no prior knowledge of photography before the project, but over the past semester they have picked up different techniques to produce some spectacular photographs.
The culmination of the Connect to Careers course normally involves the public exhibition of their work at the college, but unfortunately because of the ongoing coronavirus crisis this was not possible.
Instead they decided - much like NC Photography students at the College's Ayr Campus did last month - to move the exhibition online.
Ron McLean, Photography lecturer at Ayrshire College, said: "The exhibition has been launched as a virtual gallery and it's already had many visitors and attracted many complimentary comments. The students' work is amazingly creative and I'm glad they've been able to share it with a wider audience."
