The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of the college's IT strategy, including infrastructure, digital services, and data management. They will also oversee the IT and data teams to ensure technology effectively meets the needs of students, staff, and the college's future goals. The role requires a qualified and experienced leader with a strong technical background and a proven track record in IT strategy and implementation. This is a full-time, permanent position. |
Requirements |
The Director of Digital Infrastructure is a senior leadership role at Ayrshire College. This role is responsible for leading the development and implementation of the College's digital strategy. This includes managing and developing the College's ICT, digital and data services infrastructure. You will also provide leadership to the College's ICT and Business Intelligence and Information Systems teams. The key requirements for this role include a degree level qualification in a relevant subject area, extensive knowledge of IT requirements in a large further education college and a proven history in data management, leadership and governance. You should also have experience in strategic implementation of digital technology platforms and senior management experience in a public sector organisation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must, as is the ability to lead and develop high performing teams.
