As the demand for aesthetic beauty continues to grow, some clients prefer one salon for all their beauty needs, while others value the quality and expertise of a specialist technician in niche areas. Whether you're new to the beauty industry or looking to upskill, this course provides fast-track entry into a niche field, offering essential knowledge, practical skills and insights into social media marketing.

For this course you’ll need:

• a genuine interest in Beauty Facial Therapy, and a desire to work in a beauty environment.
• A relevant qualifications, at SCQF Level 6 or equivalent
• to be aged 16 or over

If you don’t have formal qualifications but have life experience, then we’ll also consider you for a place, so please do apply.

This course will be delivered in a blended learning format with classes online and on campus. You’ll have access to our fully equipped salons, providing a professional environment to hone your skills.

You’ll explore various aspects of facial care and techniques, including:

• chemical peels
• dermaplaning
• skin needling
• hygiene and health and safety protocols
• client consultation
• principles of skin anatomy
• skin product knowledge
• social media marketing
• industry insurance protocols

Your learning experience may be enhanced through:

• working in our commercial training salons
• guest lectures from industry experts

• assisting with promotional events, such as campus wellbeing days
