In 2023, we partnered with CentreStage Art Academy in Kilmarnock to offer Production Arts and Technical Theatre skills. Hosted at our new campus, you'll have access to top-notch facilities and industry connections.

To apply for this course, you’ll need:

• a genuine passion for theatre and production arts
• two A-C passes at National 4 in subjects related to Science, Technology, Engineering, or Maths
• alternatively, a Level 4 qualification in a relevant field such as Sound Production, Acting and Performance, Music, or Art and Design
• an interview with us

If you don’t have formal qualifications but have life experience, then we’ll also consider you for a place, so please do apply.

Our Introduction to Production Arts course is designed to immerse you in the practical aspects of production arts. Here's a glimpse of what you may learn:

• scenic art and construction: expand your skills in creating captivating stage settings

Throughout the course, you'll be working with industry-standard equipment and learning from experienced professionals currently active in the field.

After successfully completing this course you may have the opportunity to:

• progress to further study in HNC Technical Theatre, Sound Production, TV and Broadcasting, or Media.
• launching your career in Production Arts, where numerous national and international opportunities await. Many of our students find employment during or shortly after their studies.
