The current and future skills needs of Ayrshire is at the heart of a new strategic partnership between Ayrshire College and University of the West of Scotland (UWS) signed yesterday (Thursday 19 December).
A group of Ayrshire College students have helped struggling pet owners by creating and donating Christmas treat boxes filled with food, snacks and toys. The project, part of a college course, aims to support local animals and their owners during the holiday season.
Ayrshire College’s Prince’s Trust Kilwinning Team 206 recently completed their community project with a positive message fundraiser in support of Megan’s Space, a local mental health charity. Team members sold homemade cupcakes, soaps, toiletries, and raffle tickets, each item or ticket accompanied by a thoughtful, positive message.
