Foundation Apprenticeships are proving to be quite the hit at Ayrshire College, not only with school pupils, but local employers too. This year as a part of our Year 1 Engineering Foundation Apprenticeship programme two local companies, GE Caledonian and Woodward, have been actively mentoring the pupils during their practical classes.

We are running a brand new Science course starting in August. It’s called NPA Practical Science and, as it’s new for 2018/19, we thought it would be worth explaining.

A 17-person strong team from Ayrshire College will be pounding the Kilmarnock pavements on Sunday as part of the Roon the Toon 10km race. Starting and finishing at the Ayrshire Athletics Arena, the race is in its third year and takes in the major sights of Kilmarnock.
