The college aims to maximise the success of learners in each course. For this reason, we control the student entry to find the most appropriate course and therefore the level the student selects on booking is only provisional.  For this course, an initial assessment will show that your level of English is suitable for you to study at level 6.

The course is based on the SQA unit called ESOL in Study-related Contexts (Level 6) J215 76

• Reading : Understand detailed and complex language written in English
• Writing : Produce written English using detailed and complex language 
• Listening : Understand detailed and complex language spoken in English 
• Speaking : Communicate orally in English using detailed and complex language
