Our National Qualifications in ESOL develop the skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking in learners whose first language is not English so that they can understand and use English. These courses develop learners’ language skills, so that they can apply knowledge of language in practical and relevant contexts.
These are two freestanding Units and have been designed for candidates whose first language is not English but who need to develop their ability to use English in a broad range of personal and social contexts. While studying these Units candidates will develop their competence in the skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing in English for personal and social purposes.
The National 5 ESOL Course enables learners to understand and use English language. This Course contributes towards the development of literacy skills by providing learners with opportunities to read, write, listen and speak in English.
Learners who complete level 5 ESOL units can consider progressing to ESOL Higher level to further develop their language skills.
Semester 1 - £100
Semester 2 - £100
