Supported Learning

Every week students attend college for 12 hours of learning, at SCQF Level 2. The course meets the needs of applicants who have a learning disability or are on the Autistic Spectrum.

Students will develop important skills such as working with others, solving problems, and being effective communicators to help them on their learning journey. Employability skills will be developed through projects allowing students to apply their learning to real-life situations.

Subjects may include:

Computer Basics
Internet Safety and Social Media
Photography
Healthy Eating
Survival Cookery
Money Management

After completing these courses, students will be expected to transition to opportunities offered by our community partners.
