Begin your journey into construction with our Pre-Apprenticeship in Bricklaying. Develop essential skills needed for skilled tradespeople. In just one year, you will develop a solid foundation for a future in Bricklaying.

To apply for this course, you'll need:

• a Level 4 qualification in Bricklaying or demonstrate relevant trade experience
• an interview and short aptitude test

If you don't have formal qualifications but have a genuine interest in the subject, we will also consider your application.

With hands-on experiences, from building walls to crafting decorative brickwork. The course covers essential construction practices:

• half brick walling
• cavity walling
• block walling
• construction drawings
• efficient work techniques
• health and safety
• basic ICT skills

Develop transferable skills in communication, numeracy, ICT, teamwork, and problem-solving.

Once you have finished the course, you may have the opportunity to start an apprenticeship in bricklaying, progress on to the next level of the course, or job opportunities.
