In just one year, you can gain essential skills and discover the foundations to start your career in painting and decorating.

• A genuine interest in painting and decorating
• Three relevant Standard Grades at General Level
• Successful completion of the Pre-apprenticeship in Painting and Decorating (Level 4)
• An interview and/or practical entry test

If you don't have formal qualifications, we will also consider life experience.

When you complete this course, you may have the opportunity to:

• progress to Pre-Apprenticeship in Painting and Decorating (Level 6)
• start your career with an apprenticeship in painting and decorating
