Girls into Technology

Ayrshire College, in partnership with SmartSTEMs, is delighted to announce 'Girls into Technology'.

The event, is part of #ThisAyrshireGirlCan campaign and aims to inspire young girls about careers in Technology. It will take place in Kilwinning Campus from 9.30am - 2.45pm on Friday 15 February.

Female S1/S2 pupils from North and South Ayrshire schools are invited to attend. They will hear from guest speakers, meet with exhibitors and take part in various technology based workshops. The proposed format of the day is as follows:

09.30 – 09.55: Registration/meet the exhibitors

10.00 – 10.05: Welcome

10.05 – 10.25: Speaker 1 (TBC)

10.25 – 10.45: Speaker 2 (TBC)

10.45 – 10.55: Breakout into workshop groups

10.55 – 11.35: Workshop 1

11.45 – 12.45: Lunch/meet the exhibitors

12.50 – 13.35: Workshop 2

13.40 – 14.25: Workshop 3

14.30 – 14.45: Wrap up and close

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Please book before early to avoid disappointment.
