Ayrshire College launches Report + Support

Ayrshire College has launched a new online reporting tool to help make reporting issues of bullying, harassment, discrimination, hate crime, racism and gender-based violence easier for its students and staff.

The new online system, ‘Report + Support’, officially launches on 25 October 2021.

The introduction of Report + Support provides students and staff an additional choice on how they can report and access support from the College if they have been affected by such issues. Students and staff will be able to make a report, including anonymously, through the College’s Report + Support website.

Ayrshire College’s Head of HR Services, Gillian Brown said “Report + Support is a further demonstration of how committed we are as a college to the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of our students and staff.

“It complements already existing College support but, offers choice on how to access support or highlight a potential issue to us. This is hugely important when we know, how impactful issues of the nature described can be on the person experiencing them.”

Ayrshire College’s Student President, Ellie Jamieson said “I am delighted that the College is introducing Report + Support. With many of our students learning both on campus and at home, this tool will allow students who are victims or survivors of, for example, gender-based violence, harassment and hate crime to access the information and support they need. The Student Association is looking forward to supporting students to use the tool.’
