Careers And Employability – Go Anywhere

Support with career choices

At Ayrshire College we have Student Services Advisors on each campus who can help you with choosing a course that is right for you. Each Advisor works within a specific curriculum area and can advise on what careers you can work towards in your chosen industry. Advisors can also do employability workshops with class groups to help students develop their employability skills.

We can help you with:

- Employability skills
- Employability workshops
- Referrals to Skills Development Scotland (SDS)
- Planning next steps
- Applying to University through UCAS
- CV’s

On campus we also have the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) who advertise local job opportunities perfect for students looking to work part-time while studying! The DWP also offers students advice on Universal Credit.
