International Woman’s Day – Our inspiring women
If Covid-19 has shown us anything, it is the importance of strong, decisive leadership, giving us reassurance and comfort that our health, safety and wellbeing in the workplace are prioritised, and the needs of staff and students are at the heart of every decision.
Today we are celebrating some of the inspiring women in the College who have had to deal with the really challenging experience of the Covid-19 pandemic in their job roles or studies.
Carol Turnbull, Principal and CEO of Ayrshire College has steered the College though the challenges of the last 12 months in her usual style, radiating calmness and empathy.
In this interview, Carol meets two students, Megan Bell and Chloe Nicol, from the Access to Humanities in Primary Education, who ask her some probing questions about how she has coped in these extraordinary times.
