Alicia Clyde

Non-Executive Board Member

Alicia has had an eclectic career starting in the film and television industry in Scotland, heading up the Press and Public Affairs office at the British Embassy in Warsaw when she worked for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, working in inward investment marketing at s regional development agency and in audience development and capacity building for the cultural sector at a regional arts organisation.

Recently, she held a senior role as a Strategic Business development Specialist at Glasgow Caledonian University with particular responsibility around lifelong learning innovations, collaborating with academic colleagues and employers  and edtech providers across Scotland and transnationally.

Alicia spent much of her childhood in Ayrshire and lives locally.  She brings a passion for community and lifelong learning opportunities to her role on the board and looks forward to working with students, staff and Board colleagues alike to support the college across Ayrshire in their strategy and industry relationships.
