Gillian Longmuir
Non-Executive Board Member
Gillian Longmuir is the Regional Lead for Developing the Young Workforce Ayrshire, a role she has held since joining Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2010. With a strong focus on connecting local employers with young people, Gillian has collaborated closely with Ayrshire College to foster opportunities for career development and growth.
Gillian holds a Joint Honours Degree in Hotel and Hospitality Management with Tourism from the University of Strathclyde Business School. She is passionate about encouraging employers to create new opportunities for people of all ages, contributing to the growth and success of Ayrshire’s industries.
Gillian is excited to join the Ayrshire College Board of Management. She brings extensive knowledge of Ayrshire’s economic priorities and the employability landscape, aiming to support the Board’s ambitions for the College’s continued success.
