Gillian Brown

Gillian Brown is the Strategic People Partner at Ayrshire College, with over ten years of experience in the further education sector.

She holds a BA Hons degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Strathclyde and is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Gillian’s career spans a range of public sector roles in Human Resources. Prior to joining the College, Gillian worked for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and before that, NHS Ayrshire and Arran, where she held roles in Policy Development and Employee Relations

Currently, she is responsible for the College’s People function which includes Human Resources, Organisational Development, Staff Learning and Development and Equality and Diversity.

Gillian is passionate about the employee voice, ensuring that staff are at the centre of the College’s transformational journey.
