Tackling Child Poverty Training Access Fund (TAF)

TAF helps parents and carers who are already working to overcome financial barriers to skills training and career progression.

It can help you access short, work-focused training that could support you to develop your skills, progress in your career and increase your earning potential.

TAF can provide:

  • Fully funded training

  • Up to £500 funding per learner

  • Support to access short, work-focused skills courses

  • Opportunities to build skills that can support career and wage progression.

Who can apply for the TAF Fund?

TAF is aimed at:

  • Individuals currently in employment.

  • Individuals earning less than £33,000 per annum.

  • Individuals living in Ayrshire.

  • Parents or guardians of children under 18 residing within their household.
