Overview

Information Session: Wednesday 20 August, In this 10 week course followed by 2 week work placement, you’ll gain essential skills for a fulfilling career in aeronautical engineering. You’ll receive hands-on training and valuable insights and experience of an industry that’s taking off. Your future in aeronautical engineering could start here!

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course, though we are looking for candidates who have a technical background. This background doesn’t need to be in the engineering industry, but candidates should be able to demonstrate how their previous experience and hand-skills can be transferred into the aeronautical engineering industry.

Successful candidates will also be able to demonstrate their motivation to work in this growing industry.

The focus of the course will be to develop a range of hand-skills relevant for work in the aeronautical engineering industry. Alongside this, key industry knowledge will be developed to help ensure work-readiness. A period of work experience at a local aerospace employer will also be included at the end of the 10 week programme.
