Course Content
- Creative painting
- Drawing and expressive sketching
- Mixed media use
- Sowing seeds and working with plants
- Nature walks
- Recycle workshops
Timetable
Day 1
- Introduction to course and expected outcomes
- Tour of facilities and safety brief (first aid / fire)
- Nature walk and canopy photos
- Gather materials/ideas for next session
Day 2
- Compost making/sowing medium
- Branch gathering
- Damien Hirst style canvas (from canopy photos)
Day 3
- Sowing seed introduction and basic plant care
- Continue Hirst paintings
Day 4
- Potting on seedlings and watering
- Gather materials for a recycle workshop
- Plant box building
Day 5
- Nature walk and plant ID
- Complete plant box building
- Plant out boxes
- Creative drawing (mandala)
Day 6
- Woodland walk and castle visit
- Creative story of course journey
