To apply for this course, you'll need:

  • HNC Photography (with a minimum of 15 credits)

  • a portfolio of your work, which you can discuss

Course Content

Our HND Photography offers a comprehensive curriculum that covers various aspects of photography.

During this course, you may have the opportunity to:

  • develop skills in shooting architecture, both historical and contemporary, and explore interior and exterior subject material on location
  • enhance your skills in fashion photography, mastering techniques for studio, location, and editorial shoots
  • acquire skills in producing images for advertising, with a particular focus on product and advertising photography
  • dive into photojournalism for newspapers and magazines, working on briefs to create your own photojournalistic images
  • develop skills in digital video, learning to capture, edit, and produce digital video material for advertising projects
  • extend your skills in image editing, exploring advanced concepts and techniques to enhance your final images
