Entry Requirements
No formal qualifications are required.
You must have been out of full-time education for at least three years.
You should have good communication skills, which will be assessed during the application process.
Selection is based on your application, interview with a written task, and proof of academic potential.
Course Content
- Psychology & Criminology – understanding human thought and deviant behaviour.
- Sociology & Modern Studies – exploring society, power, and social issues.
- History & Anthropology– learning from the past.
- Communications and Literature (Higher level) – improving written and verbal skills for university.
- Preparation for Higher Education – developing ICT, academic writing, and research skills.
- Community Engagement & Volunteering – actively taking opportunities to make a difference to the future of society, complimenting academic skills.
Careers and Further Study
Candidates can use the course to apply for an alternative degree or college programmes.
