Here's just some of what you'll be doing:

  • Physiological Responses to Exercise - not just any sort of physiology.

  • Strength and Conditioning - you'll apply your knowledge of physical conditioning to support your athlete with the very best methods.
  • Qualitative Biomechanical Analysis - you'll work out how to improve your performer's technique through detailed analysis techniques leading to skill improvements.
  • Psychological Skills Training in Sport - you'll discover how to make sure your athlete's mind is ready for action, including theories of arousal, imagery and self talk.
  • Exercise for Pre and Post Natal Clients - unlike other HN Sport students, you'll find out how to safely prescribe exercise to new and expectant mums.
  • You'll also look at measuring fitness using complex techniques and calculations, and how the human body learns new skills in sport and exercise.
