Ayrshire College has once again been recognised as one of Scotland's leading employers after achieving both the Investors in People Gold accreditation and the We Invest in Wellbeing accreditation.
The prestigious awards recognise the College's ongoing commitment to creating an outstanding workplace where colleagues are supported to thrive, develop and deliver exceptional experiences for learners, employers and communities.
Achieving Investors in People Gold places Ayrshire College among a select group of organisations recognised for excellence in leadership, people management and workplace culture. The additional We Invest in Wellbeing accreditation highlights the College's commitment to supporting the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of colleagues.
The recognitions reflect the College's continued investment in its people through professional development, wellbeing initiatives, inclusive leadership and a culture built on its values of being Open and Honest, Innovative, Respectful and Supportive.
The assessment process involved extensive independent feedback from colleagues across the College, recognising strong leadership, collaborative working, opportunities for development and a genuine commitment to employee wellbeing.
David Davidson, Vice Principal, People, Performance and Transformation, said:
Receiving both Investors in People Gold and We Invest in Wellbeing accreditation is a significant achievement and a testament to the culture our colleagues have helped to create across Ayrshire College.
We know that when our people feel valued, supported and empowered to develop, they are best placed to deliver exceptional experiences for our learners, employers and communities. These accreditations recognise not only the investment we make in our colleagues, but also the commitment and professionalism they demonstrate every day.
As we continue delivering our Strategic Ambition of Empowering People for a Changing World, investing in our people will remain fundamental to our success. I would like to thank every colleague whose contribution has helped us achieve this important recognition.
The achievement reinforces Ayrshire College's position as an employer of choice and reflects its continued focus on developing an inclusive, high-performing culture that supports innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
