Actress Nicolette McKeown and guest judge commented:

I was honoured to be asked along and judge this year's selections. It was a wonderfully organised, delightful celebration of local talent, the theatre was filled with enthusiasm and creative promise. It was a fantastic turn out and a vast array of talent on display, it was competitive and quite difficult to choose winners to be honest, everyone that was nominated should be incredibly proud. It’s accessible events like this that helps nurture students’ ambitions and also gives the public an opportunity to join in and maybe even be inspired to start studying themselves or delve into the arts.
